It's going to keep your accessories such as this ball mount tighter in your hitch. Hi there, heavy haulers. Today, we're going to be taking a look at InfiniteRule's line of locking hitch pins. These are available for either two-inch hitches, like we're showing off today, two-and-a-half-inch, or three-inch hitches. The three-inch hitch pin is available with either a three-and-five-eights inch span or a three-and-seven-eighths inch span.Choosing the correct span for your hitch is important because we want it to have a nice, snug fit. We really don't want it to be able to slide in and out a bunch because where it slides through our hitch here, it's going to be a smaller diameter than our end pieces here, which means it's going to be easier to cut off than it would be if they had to cut here or here. Plus, if they cut here, there's still a lip here that would prevent them from being able to pull it out. more

And as you can see, I have this mocked up on a ball mount on a hitch stand here, so we can look at how this actually works and how it holds your item in place inside your hitch. So if we take a look on the inside here, you can see that there's that little block going through our shank of the ball mount. And there's also a spring to help keep that block in place. So as you're threading the bolt in, it's going to hold tight against that block, and that's what keeps the tension there. more

Lets Go Aero Thule Bike Rack SilentACT Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock Review- Video
Colin: Hey everyone, it's Colin here at etrailer. And today we're going to take a look at the SilentACT anti-rattle hitch pin. Now this is a threaded hitch pin that's been made to work with any bike rack or other hitch mounted accessory that would have a metric thread style on the inside of their shank. So for example our two lead bike racks, these are all going to have metric threading for anything like the hitching post, or the camber ones where they have the actual anti-rattle bolt. And basically what this is going to do for you is give you a lockable hitch pin with the camber and the hitching post. It just comes with this small anti-rattle bolt right here, which does a great job of making sure that it takes out all of the side to side movement of your bike rack, but it doesn't protect your bike rack from anyone potentially coming up and just taking it off.Now, what I really like about this anti-rattle hitch pin is that it's a tool free installation. more

Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the SilentACT anti-rattle hitch lock for European style bike racks. Now this is going to work for both inch-and-a-quarter and two-inch hitches, and it's basically it's just going to be a threaded locking pin to keep our hitch mounted accessory not only safe and secure, but also keep it nice and tight against our hitch. So by having that threaded portion, it's going to pull our shank of our accessory over into the receiver tube and eliminate any shake and play so we're going to have a much smoother ride going down the road, and we won't have that annoying rattling sound as well, and then we'll also have that locking portion so it's going to also be a theft deterrent. As far as leaving our bike rack on our vehicle, we won't have to worry about it since it has that nice barrel lock there to keep everything secure.The other nice thing about this that I like is that it is a tool free installation. So we'll have this oversized handle to actually tighten everything down, so you don't have to worry about finding the right socket or the right wrench to tighten down the head of the bolt that you typically have on a lot of bike carriers, we'll just have this handle to tighten in place, lock it down, and then you're good to go. more

It is also compatible with the late model Toyota Tundras and Tacomas that have a two inch factory hitch that has an outside width have more than 2 5/8 inches. Provides superior security when you're locking a ball mount, or an accessory, to your three inch hitch.This one has a nice heavy-duty stainless steel finish to it. Our construction with a nice machine finish, and this pin has been third-party tested, has a 42,000 pounds shear strength. And the shear strength is determined by they place the locking pin in a stress position. And they subject it to increasing force until there's a required proof-load that's met, or the pin fails.This one has met a 42,000 pound shear strength. more

Review of etrailer Hitch Locks - Standard Hitch Pin - E98879- Video
Today we'll be taking a look at the trailer hitch receiver lock for one and a quarter inch hitches. This is going to be a flush design to fit right up against the outside of your hitch to keep your items secure and safe. We'll have our lock core on the one side. So basically the way that this is going to work is that you actually unthread that lock core, so our silver end will thread off, and then you would place that through your inch and a quarter hitch, line that bolt back up with the end of our lock, with that pin, and then tighten it back down.I'm going to get this just threaded on a little bit so I can show you the widest that this can really go. The inside measurement there is about two and three eighths of an inch, as far as the widest that you can really get out of that. The span, we tighten it up a little bit more, the span is about two inches and an eighth. more

Today, we'll be taking a look at the trailer hitch receiver lock. This is going to be an extra long lock for a two and a half inch trailer hitch receiver. Or if you have one of those two inch hitches, that is a little bit wider than other ones, sometimes the factory hitches on some vehicles will be a little bit more bulky, maybe they're double-walled, this is going to work out well for you.It's machine from hardened 15 K stress proof steel. So it's going to have a higher steel strength and be able to handle those higher load ratings for any class five hitch. We'll have a dust cover over our locks, so it's going to keep out any dirt or debris and water it's going to help prevent that lock from becoming damaged over time. And the way this works is it's actually a screw and lock system, so it's going to be pick proof. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt hitch lock.This secures your hitch mount accessories like your cargo carriers, your bike racks and your ballmounts to your hitch, so you don't have to worry about them walking away when you're not around.It is a 5/8" diameter pin, so it's going to work with your 2", 2 1/2" and 3" receiver tubes. It's 4" long, so some of those smaller receiver tube openings, like your 2" and 2 1/2", there is going to be a little bit extra pin visible. That's not going to cause any problems, just something to keep in mind.It is constructed of a solid metal, so it's going to take some pretty serious tools to remove this if you don't have the keys. Today we're taking a look at the trailer hitch receiver lock. This is designed for two inch hitch receivers and this is made of a solid stainless steel. That's going to be the same for the pin and the lock housing, so it's going to be very resistant to any rust or corrosion, should last for a long time and stay looking nice. The way this works is actually a patented pic- proof screw and lock security system. So basically whenever you turn that key, you're actually, I'm threading a screw inside there and that's going to keep everything secure inside.One thing I will say is that if you try to unthread that from this black side, you can't do that because of the way that this pin is designed. So if you're concerned that somebody may be able to just back that off by turning the other side of the pin, they can't because of the way that pin is machined, which I'll show you. more

These are designed for use or packaged for use with the BulletProof ball mounts however, they will work on just about any other type of ball mount out there with the five, eight stamina pin. This is going to work out really well, whether you're using the two, two and a half or three receiver tube opening. And overall, these are going to be some of the finest locks that you can really find out there. Their attention to detail and manufacturing is incredible and they actually look at each and every piece as it comes out to ensure that we don't have any problems with defects, there's no issues with use and if they're going to work good for an extremely long time for you.Overall construction is going to be a steel with nickel coating over the top and you're getting the three, basically, because with your BulletProof or with other ball mounts, for that matter, we always want to lock that ball mount to the vehicle, we don't want it to come up missing, right It's a pretty big investment, we'd like to have it for as long as we want it. more

Today we're taking a look at the Fastway Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock. This is going to protect your investment and keep it safe inside your hitch receiver. It fits snugly around the outside of that receiver. That pin will just through of our locking tumbler on the end. That is resistant to any drilling or picking, so no one can finagle with your stuff and get that lock to come off. You have this end that just slides inside that tumbler there.This is designed to prevent any false locking, so you can't get it any halfway in place and remove the key. more

Review of Fastway Hitch Locks - Standard Pin Lock - FA86-00-3160- Video
Today we'll be taking a look at the Fastway Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock. This is going to keep any hitch mounted accessories safe and away from would be thieves, has a drill resistant tumbler there, we'll get the two keys to lock that up. So there's a nice, easy action to open that up, put that through your hitch and then tighten it back down or lock it back down, has a wedge style there are a little flattened edges on either side, so it fits nicely in that. Other side, and then we'll have a rubber cap to keep out any weather, any dirt or debris from getting into our tumbler and causing any issues there. Has a nice chrome-plated finish to help protect the lock and also make it nice and shiny. And we'll get our two keys. more

InfiniteRule Lock Set for Andersen Rapid Hitch Adjustable Ball Mounts Review- Video
Hey guys, today we're going to be taking a look at the Infinite Rule locking pins for our Andersen ball mount. We got our Andersen ball mount right here and these flush mounted locking pins are going to replace the standard non-locking pins that come with your ball mount, so you're going to be able to secure your ball mount to your shank, or if you pick up the two inaudible 00:00:16, you're going to be able to secure the whole assembly to your hitch receiver.If you're anything like me, you're not going to want to have a lot of different sets of keys. That's why I would just go ahead and pick up the two pack so you have one pin to lock your ball mount to your shank and then the second pin, which is going to be the shorter one, is for locking your two-inch Andersen ball mount to the hitch receiver.The pins are made from a high strength steel construction and they have a rust-proof nickel finish. That's going to help resist wear and tear and they're going to be durable. How they operate, is we're going to have this large rubber cap protecting our lock cylinder from any type of dirt or debris getting on the inside. We pop that off, we'll grab our included key, insert it. more
